Group of Wrought Iron Mostly Fireplace Tools, America, late 18th/early 19th century, three shovels: one with incised tree branch decoration at base of handle and suppressed ball finial, one with faceted ball finial, and one with curved, shaped arris handle marked "E.S E.S.," with lollipop hanger, lg. to 44; a peel with faceted ball finial with incised line decoration on the shaped, arris handle, lg. 39, wd. 7, two pairs of tongs: one with a ball finial, the other with a faceted ball finial and marked "P" at the pivot, lg. to 28 1/2; and a wrought iron chimney scraper with loop hanger, lg. 74 in.
