Two Pieces of Gorham Silver Hollowware, Providence, Rhode Island, mid-19th century, a Japanesque sterling silver teapot and cover with date cipher for 1869, globular with flattened sides, engraved medallions with Asian figures and monogram, and bail handle, body ht. 4 3/4; and coin silver goblet with neoclassical die-cast rim and chased ornament centering an engraved scene of a woman pointing to a ship off the coast and presentation inscription dated 1868, ht. 6 1/2 in.; approx. 25.0 total troy oz.

Both with surface abrasions, nicks, and usage wear. Teapot with several dents to body. Finial on cover sunken in. Medallion where spout joins body sunken in.
