Boxed Set of Nine Victorian MacNeill's Patent Sterling Silver Stamp Applicators, London, 1869-70, maker's mark "R.H" within a rectangular lozenge, possibly for Robert Hennell III or IV, each applicator with profile bust of Victoria, "Patent," and unidentified monogram to obverse, and strapwork decoration to sides, ht. 1 1/16, wd. 7/8 in., approx. 3.8 troy oz., in a fitted case embossed "Postage and Telegraph Stamps" to cover.
