Two Views of Classical Monuments:Temple of Jupiter, Evening, 1913, edition of 50 (Wuerth, 335),and The Base of the Temple of Eleusis, alternatively titled Eleusis: The Pavement of the Temple, 1913, edition of 50 (Wuerth, 339). Both signed "JoPennell" in pencil l.r. and titled in pencil l.l. Lithographs on paper, sheet sizes approximately 19 x 24 3/4 in. (48.2 x 62.7 cm),unmatted, unframed.
Condition: Toning, soiling, Eleusis with nicks and tears to edges, Jupiter with staining and cockling.
Provenance: Collection of Charles H. Deetz, Washington, DC, Cartographer at U.S. Coast and Geographic Survey.
