Samuel Chamberlain (American, 1895-1975),Early Morning Market, Senlis, 1939, edition of 300 plus proofs (Chamberlain & Kingsland, 273); John Henry Clifford (American, b. 1879),Tulips; Arthur W. Heintzelman (American, 1890-1965),Le Vigneron; Ernest Steven Lumsden (English, 1883-1948),The Cenotaph, 1921, edition of 36; and Aiden Lassell Ripley (American, 1896-1969),Grouse and Grapes. Each signed in pencil or ink within the lower margin, two dedicated to Frank Benson. Plate sizes to 9 3/8 x 13 3/4 in. (23.6 x 35.0 cm),one matted, all unframed.
Condition: Minor soiling to margins, folds to margins of Cenotaph.

Provenance: Descended within the family of artist Frank Weston Benson.

N.B. A fragmentary poster from a Benson & Tarbell exhibition held at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, in 1938 accompanies the lot.
