The Good Samaritan
Unsigned.
Ink and wash on laid paper, 8 1/4 x 6 3/4 in. (21.0 x 17.1 cm), framed.
Condition: Sheet mounted to wove paper support, creasing, staining, tape-hinged to back mat.

Provenance: Property from the Estate of Mr. George Allen, Sothebys.com, Lot #94YJ, October 9, 2001.

Trimmed sheet, tack holes to corners; restored tear to u.l. quadrant measuring approx. 2 1/4 in.; scattered foxing; toning; tape hinged to backing mat.
