Hand-tinted Sixth-plate Daguerreotype of a Mother and Child, in an embossed leather case.
Condition: Minor tarnish, case is worn, especially at corners and location of clasps, detached cover with leather lifting at l.r., minor abrasions to brass mat at corners and around opening, velvet pad faded, velvet liner slightly worn, not examined out of case.
Provenance: A private New England collection.
