Two Fowling Subjects: Flight Woodcock and Grouse on a Pine Bough. Both signed "A. Lassell Ripley" in pencil l.r. and titled in pencil l.l. Etchings (the former with aquatint) on paper, plate sizes approximately 9 x 12 in. (22.7 x 30.4 cm),framed.
Condition: Very subtle toning, not examined out of frames.

Flight Woodcock sheet measuring 12 1/4 x 15 7/16 in., hinged to the window mat with brown paper tape (8-1/2 inches across) at the top center of the reverse, with a remnant of brown paper tape to the bottom center, gently light struck, handling creases, scattered pale fox marks.
