Identified Model 1850 Non-regulation Foot Officer's Sword, c. 1861-65, steel hilt with pierced hilt, and eagle over US, shagreen and wire-wrapped grip, steel blade marked on ricasso SCHUYLER HARTLEY/&GRAHAM/PROVED/NEW YORK on one side, and a CLAUBERG/SOLINGEN on the other, blade also engraved with US, and eagle, and foliate designs, steel scabbard engraved on upper hilt near throat C.R. POMEROY Jr./33rd O.V.I., blade lg. 32 1/2, overall lg. 38 in.
