Welch Spring & Company No. 5 Regulator, Forestville, Connecticut, c. 1875, black walnut case with turned finials, columns and pendants, black flocked paper on backboard, wooden bezel over the 10-in. painted zinc dial, glazed side panels with gilt moldings, two weight, eight-day, time-only movement, brass beat scale and regulated by a pendulum with a gilt wooden rod and brass-faced bob, ht. 52 in.
