Curtis & Clark Miniature Shelf Clock, case by Charles Platt, New York, movement, Connecticut, c. 1825, the mahogany case with carved columns flanking the painted iron Roman numeral dial signed Curtis & Clark/Plymouth within a stenciled border and painted shell spandrels, printed maker's label inside backboard stating in part, Clocks Made by Curtis and Clark/Plymouth, Con./This clock combines advantages over any other clock made in this country, for convenience. It is made of the best materials, the springs imported from Geneva., eight-day time and strike spring-powered movement, ht. 23 in.
Estimate $4,000-6,000

Rear feet possibly replaced, case refinished, period mirror in lower section of door is a probable replacement.
