Joshua Wilder Dwarf Clock, Hingham, Massachusetts, c. 1815, the pine case with glazed dial opening, painted iron dial marked Warranted by Joshua Wilder, Hingham, gilded spandrels with Federal shields, full-length rear door for weight and pendulum access, eight-day time and passing strike movement with cast iron weight and 18-in. pendulum rod and brass-faced pendulum bob, ht. 42 in.

painted dial enhanced, case stripped of probable painted surface, carved crest on top is an old replacement, original feet pieced out about 1 3/4 in., new bottom board, movement complete with period weight and pendulum but needs cleaning.
