Cased Paterson Number Two, Fifth Model Ehlers Pocket Revolver, c. 1840-43, serial number 420, all matching numbers, walnut grips, steel frame with drop-down trigger with serial number, cylinder with light scene remaining, wedge marked with serial number 420, top of barrel marked Patent Arms Paterson N-J. Colt's Pt., with loading lever, nipple wrench, and screwdriver combination tool, bullet mold, and brass powder flask, mahogany case fitted for pistol and accessories, lined with dark maroon velvet, barrel lg. 4, overall lg. 8 3/8, case lg. 9, case ht. 5 1/2.

Pistol has light patina on steel parts and some cylinder scene remaining, wood grip has small repair on the right side, case has a crack on the lid, and is missing the top latch for the lock and the key.
