Starr Percussion Carbine, c. 1862-65, walnut stock with light cartouche and ring on left side, brass buttplate and barrel band, steel lock marked STARR ARMS Co/YONKERS, NY, barrel marked the same, breech marked STARR'S PATENT/SEPT. 14th 1858, barrel lg. 21, overall lg. 37 3/4 in.

Stock has dings and nicks, and a very light crack near the comb, very little finish left on lock and breech.
