ARMS CO./CHICOPEE FALLS, and on left side EDWARD MAYNARD./PATENTEE./MAY 27.1851./DEC 6. 1859, marked on triggerguard tang 1865/27007, barrel lg. 20, overall lg. 36 1/2 in.

Walnut stock has a crack on the left side and a few nicks, steel parts are a light plum color.
