Model 1816 Flintlock Musket, c. 1836, walnut stock with a cartouche on the left side, steel fittings, tail of the lockplate marked NEW HAVEN/1828., and marked in front of the hammer U.S/P.&E.W. BLAKE, barrel tang dated 1836 and marked with a VP and an eagle's head, barrel lg. 42, overall lg. 57 1/2 in.
