British Model 1799 Elliot Carbine, Bayonet, and Scabbard, walnut stock with a storekeeper's stamp on the right side of the butt, and a TG on the left side behind the sideplate, with a steel sling bar, and a VII carved into the stock near the triggerguard, brass buttplate, triggerguard, sideplate, ramrod pipes, and nose cap, steel ramrod, lockplate marked TOWER with a crown and GR and a crowned broad arrow mark, steel bayonet with scabbard spring marked S. HILL with a crown over and 8 and a B, leather scabbard with brass fittings, barrel lg. 28, overall lg. 43 1/2 in.
