French Bisque Socket Head Fashion Doll, probably Paris, late 19th century/early 20th century, back of neck incised "8," with curly light brown mohair wig, fixed blue glass eyes with painted lashes, pierced ears with beaded earrings, bisque breast plate, arms, and hands, kidskin torso and legs, pink lace and velvet hat with green feather, embroidered purple silk evening dress with pink velvet bustle and bodice, ivory linen undergarments, fishnet stockings, and purple leatherette booties; sold with white porcelain poodle, and metal and wood doll stand.

Repair and repaint to face - evidently damaged in past. Chips possibly filled in under doll's left eye. Right hand repaired/repainted. Later clothes. Shoulder plate good.
