School of Francesco Albani (Italian, 1578-1660)

Venus and Mars
Unsigned, with a collector's stamp l.r., identified on labels affixed to the mat,
inscribed "From the Collection of John Auldjo, Esq." and "From the Collection of Arthur Pond" in pencil on the mat and on the reverse, with a temporary loan label from the Fogg Art Museum, Cambridge, affixed to the mat.
Graphite on laid paper, 5 1/4 x 6 3/4 in. (13.3 x 17.2 cm), unframed.
Condition: Foxing, mounted to card.
