envelope inscribed "Cadmus/SALTAIRE/FIRE ISLAND N.Y." on the reverse.
Ink on paper, sheet size 8 1/2 x 7 3/4 in., both within a common frame.
Condition: Correspondence with folding creases

N.B. The letter is dedicated to Monroe Wheeler, former head of exhibitions and publications at the Museum of Modern Art, as well as an advisor to MoMA's board of trustees.
