Description:

Five Portrait Miniatures, Continental, 19th century, three oval format: one depicting Princess Elisabeth of France after Lebrun, signed indistinctly lower right, framed and surmounted with ribband, image ht. 3 5/8; another depicting Madame de Montesson, after Lebrun and signed "Lebrun" lower right, framed, image ht. 4; the third an unidentified female subject with a kerchief in her hair, unsigned, framed, image ht. 3 3/8; and two circular: one depicting Napoleon, Napoléon François Charles Joseph Bonaparte, the King of Rome, and Marie Louise, Duchess of Parma, painted en grisaille to a black ground, signed "Favony" lower left, framed and surmounted with ribband, image ht. 2; and portrait of an unidentified female subject mounted as a pendant, image ht. 3/4 in.

Not examined out of framed. All in good visible condition. Madame de Montesson with ripples to ivory and edge of ivory visible when framed.
