Oil on cradled panel, 18 x 21 7/8 in. (55.7 x 46.0 cm),framed.
Condition: Horizontal cracking to panel, retouch, craquelure, surface grime.

N.B. Label on the reverse from a former owner gives the artist as Vincenzo Foppa (1425-1510),purchased from Castano Galleries in Boston in August, 1967, and describes the frame as Northern Italian, c. 1540, purchased from A. Wiggins & Sons, London, September, 1967.
