Luri Rug, Southwest Persia, third quarter 19th century, the brown field with rows of hooked diamonds in shades of blue, olive, ivory, cochineal, gold, and brick, flanked by highly stylized opposing serrated arrow motifs, all within a wide ivory border containing geometric and dragon devices, 11 ft. 11 in. x 4 ft. 10 in.
