Ten Early Brass Candlesticks and Wrought Iron Rush Light and Candle Snuffer, three 16th century Dutch candlesticks with dished bases, two with wax extraction holes, one c. 16th century Flemish or Italian candlestick with extraction holes on the elongated candlecup, with high domed base and turnings on the slender shaft; two sticks probably Spanish, 17th century, with cushion base and wax extraction holes; two probably c. late 17th c. French sticks with slender turned shafts on the slightly dished round bases, a century 1720 English taper stick with baluster stem and slightly dished round base, a c. 1690 Spanish stick with baluster stem on a square dished base with paw feet; a wrought iron rushlight with candleholder counterweight on a tripod base, and a scissors-form candle snuffer, (one stick separated from base, imperfections),ht. 2 7/8 to 8 1/2 in.

On the 16th c. Dutch c'stick with molded base the threading joining the base to the stem is compromised, some solder has been added but it remains loose.
Most sticks with some dents on base edge, some with old repairs, one with a split on the base edge, one with small split on mid-drip pan.
