Titled, signed, and dated "...W. Allston pinxit 1832." on the reverse, with labels
from the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and Boston Athenaeum affixed to the frame.
Oil on artist board, 17 3/4 x 14 3/4 in. (45.1 x 37.5 cm),framed.
Condition: Surface irregularities (including alligatoring and blistering).

Provenance: Ex-collection of Mrs. Charles Jackson Paine [née Julia Lee Bryant] (1847-1901),Boston; by family descent to the estate of Charles P. Fisher, Framingham, Massachusetts.
