Oil on cradled panel, 26 3/8 x 20 1/2 in. (67.1 x 52.1 cm),framed.
Condition: Vertical cracks to panel, scattered losses, retouch, fine craquelure, surface grime.
Estimate $2,000-3,000

The work may be the School of Fontainbleau, early 17th Century.

The work is based on a print by Jan Saenredam (Dutch, 1565-1607),representing the Sense of Sight, part of a series of the Five Senses, published in 1595 after Hendrik Goltzius (Dutch, 1558-1617).
