The Virgin and Child Seated by a Tree, 1513 (Bartsch, 35; Hollstein, 34 only state; Meder, 34d/e). Monogrammed within the plate, collector's marks (see below) and annotations to verso, identified in text affixed to the backing. Engraving on laid paper, image size 5 1/4 x 5 11/16 in. (13.3 x 14.4 cm),framed.
Condition: Trimmed to plate mark, subtle staining, glue residue to left edge on verso.

Provenance: Ex-collection of Bernhard Keller (1789-1870),Schaffhouse (Lugt, 384); Sotheby's New York, Sale 8344, Lot 4A, September 26, 2007, to a private Massachusetts collection.
