Spanish Colonial Carved, Painted and Gilded Wood Figure of the Virgin Immaculate, Cuzco school, Peru, 18th century, the figure with her hands joined in prayer, and standing upon a crescent moon with three cherubim, on a plinth base, total ht. 22 1/4 in.
Base with loss to molding on front and back. Surface fragile, with loss and craquelure. Loss to fingers. Two nicks to top of head.
