English Sterling Silver Salver and Rattle, the salver, George III, London, 1780-81, John Crouch I & Thomas Hannam, maker, with armorial to center, beaded rim, and three beaded feet, dia. 7 3/8; the rattle, Victorian, Birmingham, 1872-73, maker's mark rubbed, with whistle, two tiers of bells, and coral handle, lg. 6 1/2 in.; approx. 12.0 total troy oz.
Salver with engraving removal to center. Rattle lacking five bells (one also lacking loop for bell), bells all with some scattered dents, scattered minor metal fatigue, coral element reglued.
