Repousse and enameled lid and sides inset with multi-colored glass cabochons in a studded frame, the interior with traces of paper lining, embossed Alfred Daguet on back panel, some wear, rust, ht. 5, wd. 10, dp., 5 1/2 in.

Note: Alfred Daguet's workshop was located above famous retailer L'Art Nouveau, the Paris decorative arts gallery of Seigfried Bing, a seminal proponent of the Art Nouveau movement at the turn of the 20th century.
