Single page on White House stationery. To Postmaster General Harry Stewart New (1858-1937),mentioning Senator Wesley Jones's support of the Merchant Marine, and asking New to check into "the situation" in Salisbury, North Carolina, and the Ramsay appointment. Toned, old folds, large pencil check mark, signed in ink by the President, matted and mounted, with a portrait of Harding, 7 1/4 x 6 1/2 in., 16 1/2 x 23 in. overall.
