Haida Carved Wood Totem Pole, attributed to John Cross, c. 1900, hollow-back form with top figure probably representing Wasgo, or Sea Wolf, holding a whale in its mouth, below is a human face with raven beak, below that are two bears, one holding a human, the other a frog (?) in its mouth, (probably repainted with white, gray, black, and red paint, weathered surface),ht. 11 ft.
