Alabama, wooden box with label marked MATHEMATICAL INSTRUMENT MAKER, to the honorable Board of Excise/ HYDROMETER MAKER for the REVENUE OF THE UNITED KINGDOM/ R.B. Bate with royal cipher and other instruments shown, ht. 5 1/2, wd. 6 1/4, lg. 14 5/8 in.
