Chippendale Carved Mahogany Side Chair, Boston, c. 1760-80, the serpentine cresting centering leaf-carving flanked by leaf-carved terminals, on a pierced carved Gothic splat and slip seat on frontal cabriole legs ending in claw-and-ball feet with swept-back talons, and raking rear legs, refinished, (repairs),ht. 38 1/2, seat ht. 17 1/2 in.
