Paint-decorated Small Oval Covered Box, Leverett, Massachusetts, c. 1830, lapped-seam constructed box with pine top and bottom and maple sides, painted green with a red- and white-painted stylized flower painted on the top with red dot border, ht. 2 1/2, wd. 4 3/4, lg. 6 1/4 in.
