Portrait of the Three-masted Schooner KATE MARKEEwith Distant Lighthouse. Signed "Stubbs" l.l., the vessel identified on pennant, bow, and stern. Oil on canvas, 23 3/4 x 35 3/4 in., in a later molded maple frame. Condition: Stable craquelure, scattered spots of surface grime.

The craquelure is fairly wvenly scattered across the canvas appears to be stable, scattered small dark spots prevalent in sails and sky from an undetermined source possibly moisture/mold.
