Three Portraits of Maharajas, Mughal India, late 18th/19th century, color and gold on paper, each haloed figure dressed in a pleated tunic and an ornamented cap, standing before a wall of plants, 9 3/4 x 6 1/4 in., glazed and framed.

Note : All three portraits with label verso dating the framing to 1963; one with note "The portraits in this book belonged to Rajah ...and were taken from his library at the ... purchased for Sir John Murray by Lord James... 3...1796."
Not examined out of frames but appear to be in good condition.
