Oil on canvas, 48 x 36 in. (122.0 x 91.5 cm),framed.
Condition: Small vertical tear l.c., patch reinforcement, retouch, craquelure, surface grime.

With a label from P. Roeder Picture Frames, Brooklyn, N.Y., on the back of the frame.

Vertical tear measuring 2-3/4 inches in lower center located in the green skirt about 8 inches up from the bottom. Retouch to u.r. quadrant in the wall and background to the right of the figure's head, consisting of two rectangles measuring 4 x 7 inches and 3 x 6 inches, with a corresponding patch reinforcement on the reverse. Retouch to the figure's face, primarily to the edges of the cheeks, bridge of nose, and side of neck. Scattered dots at her proper left shoulder . Broadly brushed retouch to her arms and hands, with a small dot (1/4 in.) above her proper right elbow. Two thin vertical lines of retouch measuring 4 in. high located at the left center edge of the canvas. Craquelure overall. Gloss finish varnish. Mild surface grime.
