"(C 1891/ ...A.F. Tait N.A./Ludlow Park/Yonkers./N.Y." on the backing board behind the stretcher.
Oil on canvas, 12 x 16 1/4 in. (30.3 x 41.3 cm),framed.
Condition: Varnish inconsistencies, surface grime.

Small paint loss from frame abrasion to l.r. corner that partially obscures the inscription and date beneath the signature. The inscription on the back is on a cardboard backing inserted between the canvas and the stretcher.
