Composition is in an arched format. The back of the academy board is abraded, suggesting that prior conservation included removing the outer layer of the backing, or that the board had been removed from a secondary support. Suggestion of toning from exposure to wood on the back. There is a label on the frame plexiglass backing from Walt Nowatka at the Art Restoration Lab at Gate House Galleries, New Jersey, bearing the date 9/83.
