Description:

Pair of French Porcelain and Dore Bronze Three-light Candelabra, 19th century, the turquoise-glazed roosters modeled after Alphonse-Alexandre Arson (1822-1880),and incised "ARSON," the undersides stamped "SEVRES," mounted to unmarked Rococo-style bronze bases with three scrolling arms, total ht. 21 in.

One rooster with loss to one spur, the other with loss to one tail feather. No cracks or repairs to porcelain. Scattered darkening, loss to gilding, and verdigris to bronze. One candelabra lacking one screw joining scrolling bronze to base.
