Two Images of Young Women with Pets:Les Chatons, 1926 (Holland et al., 299); La Jalousie, 1927 (Holland et al., 301). Both signed "Louis Icart" in pencil l.r., numbered "277" and "228" in pencil l.l., respectively, both identified within the plates, both with artist's dry stamp l.l. Color etchings with aquatint and stencil coloring on paper, plate sizes 10 x 10 1/2 in. (25.0 x 27.0 cm),framed.
Condition: Small inclusion below image and slight mat burn on Les Chatons, neither examined out of frame.

Out of the frames, sheets measures approximately 19 7/8 x 18 7/8 in. (50.4 x 47.9 cm),La Jalousie laid onto paperboard. Minor pinpoint foxing, three slight surface abrasions with possible graphite retouch u.r. and l.l.; Les Chatons sheet sandwiched between fron window mat and backing mat, foxing lower left and upper right.
