Twenty-one Unframed Travel Sketches
All signed, most dated and inscribed as to location as follows:
"Copenhagen"; "Helsinki"; "Amalienborg Palace Denmark"; "Natchez" (on one side of double sided sketch); "Morocco"; "Main River Frankfurt Germany"; "Quadalajara" [sic]; "Road to Mombaso (?) Kenya Africa"; "Road Aqaba, Egypt to Luxor"; "Pozanti Turkey"; "Sea Cloud"; "Antigua"; "Canton China"; "West Lake Hangzhou China"; "Miami Beach Florida"; "Miami Fla. - after 2nd eye operation"; "Ireland"; and "...Spain" (indistict inscription).
Mixed media on paper, sizes to 9 x 11 7/8 in. (22.9 x 30.2 cm).
Condition: Gentle toning and soiling, one sheet is double-sided.

Provenance: Through the estate of Matthew Wysocki (1920-1991),artist, photographer, professor, and chairman of Dartmouth College's visual studies department (1966-1989),to the present owner by family descent, Connecticut.
