Northern Italian School, 18th Century, Madonna with Christ Child, St. John, and St. Anne, unsigned, ink and graphite with wash on laid paper, 4 1/8 x 3 1/4 in. (10.5 x 8.3 cm),oval format.
Condition: Madonna with surface abrasions; Angel sheet trimmed to oval format.

Madonna affixed to backing mat, soiling, acid burn up to 5/8 in. x 1 3/8 in. (1.6 x 3.5 cm),staining up to 5/8 in. x 1/2 in. (1.6 x 1.3 cm); Angel paper backed to another oval sheet of the same size affixed to backing mat, possible faint inscription l.l., small puncture to c.l. margin of sheet, tiny accretion l.r.
