Isabel Bishop (American, 1902-1988)
Two Girls Outdoors, alternatively titled Helping with the Veil, 1953, edition of 50 published in 1981 by Associated American Artists, New York, printed by Stephen Sholinsky (Teller & Hyman, 49; AAA/Czestochowski, 1981.009.07). Signed "Isabel Bishop" in pencil l.r., numbered "24/50" in pencil l.l., printer's drystamp l.r., identified on a labels from the Midtown Galleries, Inc., New York, affixed to the back of the mat. Etching on wove paper, plate size 7 3/8 x 4 7/8 in. (18.6 x 12.5 cm), framed.
Condition: Deckled edges.
The sheet measures 13 x 10 inches and is hinged near the upper corners.
