Description:

Hans Sebald Beham (German, 1500-1550)

Adam and Eve Expelled from Paradise, 1543. Monogrammed and dated within the plate, identified on a label from E. Weyhe, New York, affixed to the backing. Engraving on paper, image/sheet size 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 in. (8.2 x 5.6 cm), framed.
Condition: Trimmed on and/or just outside of the borderline, good impression, not examined out of frame.
Estimate $300-500

Examined out of frame, sheet is hinged at top edge to backing board.
