John Taylor Arms (American, 1887-1953)

U.S.S. Columbia under Construction at New York Shipbuilding Corporation, Camden, 1945, second state, edition of 766 (Fletcher, 390). Signed and dated "John Taylor Arms 1945" in pencil l.r., inscribed "II" in pencil l.l., identified on a label from Kennedy & Co., New York, affixed to the backing. Etching and drypoint on paper, plate size 12 3/8 x 17 1/4 in. (31.3 x 43.8 cm), framed.
Condition: Mat burn, unobtrusive toning and rippling, not examined out of frame.
