Four Sixth-plate Daguerreotype Portraits of Three Young Men and an Older Gentleman, the first young man, likely a sailor, is wearing a soft, brimmed cap, his necktie tied with a sailor's knot; the second young man with hair parted to the side wearing a fringed beard; the third is seated, holding a folding ruler; the last, an older man, is seated with one arm resting on a table, mounted in "Two Pears," "The Nesting Birds," "Geometric/Floral," and "Voyage of Life, The Launching" (Krainik 178, 168, 248, 150, respectively) Union cases, (imperfections).

Young man/fringed beard- minor tarnish, minor small scratch l.c., chip on case at clasp.
Young man with ruler- tarnish ring, minor corrosion spots.
Older man- Tarnish ring, numerous spiders.
