Three Surveying Instruments, 20th century, including a Ball Recording Sextant, with a U.S. Navy Observatory certificate, day and night 9-in. scopes, platform marked 0-90, vernier; a Universal Sun Compass, model SC-1, circular platform marked 0-360 and Abrams Instrument Co., Michigan, with war department maintenance manual and parts catalog; and an Astro Compass, Mark II, surveyor's instrument, with multiple bearing readouts, fine adjustment knobs for north and south latitudes, all in fitted wooden boxes.
