Mahogany Dwarf Timepiece, United Kingdom, c. 1800, scroll-top case with round dial opening, fluted frieze and rectangular door with cut corners on a molded base with ball feet, 8-in. cast-brass engraved Roman numeral dial with Arabic five minute marks, eight-day brass timepiece with back plate engraved 1801, recoil escapement, regulated by a 25-in. brass-faced pendulum bob and iron rod all powered by a single lead weight, ht. 42 in.
